Where will the conference be held?
The Journal of Mormon Polygamy Conference will take place at:

What are the dates and times of the conference?
The conference will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (registration starts at 4:30, be in your seat by 5:00); and on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a light buffet to follow. We have planned a full schedule with presentations, debates, and interactive sessions to ensure a rewarding experience for all attendees. (None of the sessions are concurrent, so the full audience will attend each session).

Also, along with the conference, a limited-seating training session will be held at BYU’s Special Collections on Friday, March 20, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.

What is the cost to attend the conference?
The ticket prices for the conference are as follows:

$65 Early Bird special (register between Nov. 28 and Dec. 31, 2025)
$80 Standard Ticket (register between Jan. 1 and Mar. 19, 2026)
$80 Online Livestream
$20 Add-on training at BYU with purchase of ticket, seating limited

Is parking available at the venue?
Yes! Parking is free for the event. 

Will meals be provided? 
Meal options are available on-your-own at local restaurants. A fund-raising luncheon is provided for a $100 donation and will include opportunities to mingle with presenters and the Journal’s founders. This will be held at the Utah Valley University Library.

Can I register for the conference at the door?
Registration is only available online at journalofmormonpolygamy.org. The conference is expected to sell out, so we highly recommend registering online as soon as possible to guarantee your conference ticket. The final day of registration is March 19, 2026.

What about refunds if I am unable to attend the conference?
Unfortunately, due to administrative costs, we are unable to provide refunds. We are able to transfer your ticket to someone else if you let us know the name and email address of the person who will be replacing you. Alternatively, we can shift your ticket to an online option.

What should I bring to the conference?
We recommend bringing a notebook or device for taking notes, especially since there will be plenty of new research and thought-provoking discussions.

Will there be opportunities to network with other attendees?
Yes! In addition to the fund-raising luncheon with the presenters, the conference will include ample networking opportunities during breaks and the interactive sessions, and light buffet on Saturday evening. We encourage all attendees to engage with one another, share their research, and discuss ideas throughout the event.
